Exploring The Castle

"Man...this poor girl, left to take care of her family. Her brother is a strong man, at least..." Jacalyn commented, frowning.

Hikari frowns as well, pondering on the dreaded fate this girl might have and her family. Well, what's left of it. She turns the page and reads the next entry.

"Feburary 2nd. Allen has been having awful nightmares at night. I always have to wake up in the middle of the night to stop his shrieking of fear and comfort him. He still feels cold and he still looks pale but there has been a change in his eyes. Their not the hazel brown it used to be. Its yellow now. Completely. And his hair is black instead of that tan brown it was. I called the doctor. He said it might have been some symptoms. The illness is unheard so he couldn't determine it. I'm so worried for him. - Henrietta"

"Hm...Well, I guess it's time to call it a night?" Jacalyn said, getting up from her chair. She looked at the lightening hallway. "The sun's starting to come up. That's one of the things I miss about being human. It's the sunlight. That poor boy." She said, looking out the doorway.

"Mhm." Hikari said picking Hina and and walking out Luna's room into her room where she closes the curtains.

Walking back to her room, Jacalyn closed and locked the doors, shifting through the papers. When everyone was up tomorrow, she would bring it up. She had to wonder what would happen, maybe they were already in one. Who knew? She certainly didn't, so she laid on the bed. Not bothering with blankets, or changing she fell asleep easily.

Hikari throws the book on the bed and grabs one of the pillows and sets it on the small table by the bed she sets Hina on top of the pillow who looked content. Hikari just took off her jacket and set it on a chair and changed her pants with loose shorts she brought along. Rubbing her eyes and scooping up the book before falling back and landing on the bed with a yawn and a sigh, Hikari decides to look through the diary one more time. Just one more entry.

Luna was a light sleeper and had heard her friends enter.She pretended to sleep in hopes of actually falling asleep.She listened as they read the passages and then left for bed.She pondered the entries for a while before finally falling asleep.

Kat entered the castle as quietly as she could, she knew this place pretty well and knew where all the rooms where. she walked a round for a bit she smelt 4 other vampires in the castle and she wanted to know where they were. she walked into the huge kitchine and down to the celler. there was a small rooom down there which was her study in the old days.

"Feburary 8. Where in God's name is Mother, Father, and Sabrina? I really do miss them. And Usualla is becoming more distant. Not to mention my brother's lingering illness. He seems to act more violent at me and he apologizes every time he does. I want to help him so bad. My dear brother Allen. - Henrietta"

Hikari closes the diary and sets it on the small table by Hina. She ponders a lot about that girl's life and wonders if it has something to do with her own family.
