Club Dead

Sapphire turned top look at the unfamiliar vampire. "You must be Hikari. I'm Sapphire." she said , offering her hand. "And I'm sorry for breaking up the fight, but the bartender's an old friend, and he couldn't do anything but watch his bar being torn apart."

Hikari shakes Sapphire's hand gratefully with a smile. "No, no, its okay. right when i walked in I was dragged in the fight so i'm happy its over."

Luna came over to her friends.her angry was disappearing a little.So she let go of her illusion."im glad its over too"she said.

Toshii looks over to Luna and nods happily. "I don't like fights."

"I think that they are ok,until they turn gruesome.If they are just for fun its even better"Said Luna.

Toshii just gave an agreeable shrug and drinks the rest of the AB blood she ordered.

Sapphire started walking around, righting the few tables and chairs that weren't splintered to pieces.
"Eh Kat!" she called. "Can you grab some garbage bags out of the back?" She grabbed the broom from behind the bar and started to sweep up the broken glass and wood splinters. She turned to the bartender. "Hey George, do you want to grab us some glasses of water and some O blood while we work?"

Luna walked over and start to help right the tables and chairs.She threw the broken ones in a pile and set the damaged ones in another.she worked quietly and efficently while she waited for the garbage bags and the blood to come.

"Thanks Luna." Sapphire turned to George as he walked up. "Thanks to you too George." He just smiled and walked off. She turned back to Luna and handed her a glass of O. "Here you go. It's still warm." She surveyed the bar. There were still rips in the wall, ceiling, and floor, but the chairs and tables that had survived were all right side up. "I love vampire and werewolf speed." she muttered under her breath happily.

Luna downed the blood quickly and set to work looking at the damaged furniture to see if it could be fixed andif it could what she needed to get to fix it.the ones that couldnt be fixed she put with the broken pile.soon she had a mental list of a few things that she needed."I'll be right back"she said and hurried out the door to grab the stuff from the store.

"Alright!" Sapphire yelled as Luna walked out the door. She surveyed the broken pile. "Ugh." she said. She turned to the vampires. "You guys are going to want to stay away from the back. I have to go burn this junk in the back." She grabbed a drop cloth from behind the bar and moved the pile onto it. After she finished moving it, she grabbed a corner and pulled the pile of jumbled wood out the back door. She dumped the pile, and went back inside. She grabbed a vodka off the counter shelf and ran back outside. The sounds of the night surrounded her. She sighed, enjoying the cool wind through her hair. She turned back to the pile, throwing the bottle of vodka onto the top. The glass bottle shattered, and the clear liquid began to flow down into the pile. From her jacket pocket, Sapphire pulled the lighter that she kept with her when she went out. She flicked it on and crouched at the edge, lighting the thin stream of vodka that she could see. The stream caught, and Sapphire watched the fire spread throughout the pile until it was completely ablaze. The flames flickered, and Sapphire watched the shadows move and contort themselves upon the trees rough surface.

Luna returned quickly with the tools and other things she needed.She decided to go and enter from the back so that she could sneak up on the others and to grab a drink brfore she started her work.But when she rounded the corner she almost ran straight into a fire.she skidded to a halt and scrambled back so that she wasnt near it.she looked over and saw Sapphire watching the flames and shadows and relized that the fire was made of the broken furniture.Luna inched along the edge of the fire,staying as far away as possible so that no stray flame got her,and made her way toward Sapphire.

Sapphire heard footsteps and turned to see Luna scrambling away from the flames. 'Oh crap' she thought. Out loud she said "Sorry Luna! I told the rest of the vamps that there was a fire, and I assumed that you would use the front door. But I'm just burning the broken furniture, seeing as the garbage men would wonder about blood stained wood." She turned back to the flames, and poked a couple of rouge flaming chair legs into the fire.

"ok"said Luna as she reched Sapphire."I'm going to head in."she said and headed inside grabbing an O+ from the shelf as she went to drink as she worked.she left money on the counter for the drink and went to her working spot and began.She was finished with both her work and drink quickly and threw the bottle out and wen to check on the others' progress.

As Sapphire watched the massive pile burn down to a small circle of charred ground and misshapen glass, she noticed something strange. Hidden in the heart of the embers was a tooth. Sapphire quickly reached in and grabbed the blackened tooth. She wiped off the soot and saw that there was a cap on the top with a small metal ring, seemingly there so that the tooth could be attached to a chain or lanyard. She turned her attention to the tooth itself, and was suprised to see that it glowed coldly, as if lit internally by a flourescent light. And, she noticed, one side was covered in ornate carvings, while the other was completely smooth. The point was still needle sharp, she noticed mildly as it pricked her palm. She stood up, took one last look at the fire to make sure that it was out, and walked back into the bar. She found Luna putting the final touches on the bar with the supplies she had bought. Sapphire walked up to Luna. "Hey. Does this look familiar to you? It's about the size of a wolf tooth, but the markings and cap say that it wasn't just some poor were's canine." She paused and turned the tooth so that the carved side faced Luna. "And these carvings aren't anything that I've seen before either."

Luna looked up at the tooth.It was interesting,but she hadn't seen it before."never seen it before,but it looks cool."said Luna.She took the tooth from Sapphire and tun it back and forth to see if their was anything else interesting about it.It wasn't normal,but that was all she knew."Kat might know."She said and handed it back to Sapphire.She turned away and started putting the furniture back where it belonged,so that it looks like nothing had happened besides a few missing tables and chairs.Then she grabbed a mop and a bucket of soapy water and started to clean up the bloodied floor.The whole time she was deep in thought thinking about the vial of blood she had found and the tooth and if they were related and if so how.

Sapphire could tell that Luna was deep in thought about something. "Luna, what's up? You've gone over the exact same bit of floor at least 20 times now. If you keep scrubbing it there will be no floor when you're done. What's on your mind?"

Luna started laughing.'There probably won't be'she thought."i was just thinking about the carvings on the tooth and everything else,nothing important"Luna said,it was the truth,just not the whole thing.She wasn't sure if she should bring up the vial that she had found.

Sapphire glared at Luna. "Luna, I may not be a mind reader, but I do know when I'm being lied to. Tell me what's going on."

Luna froze.'should I tell'she thought,'maybe they already know.'she brought up an illusion and said "I'm telling the truth"she said,it was the truth,well part of it.'i guess telling wouldn't be any harm'she thought. "i also found something earlier and was thinking about if it could be related in anyway to the tooth and if so how"she said quietly looking down at the floor and starting to mop up the floor again while dropping her illusion.She went back into thought about it as she work and this time didn't stay in one spot the whole time.

Sapphire felt the block go up in Luna's mind. It felt like she had run into a wall. As carefree feelings surrounded her, she could smell hints of soothing water and feel the cool green of the forest. Sapphire knew that Luna was nervous and that's why the illusion was so overpowering. 'She's losing her touch' Sapphire thought. But she walked to the other side of the bar to give Luna some time and space before Sapphire pressed her any more.

Luna sensed Sapphire walk away,but was still thinking.She wasn't sure if there was a connection between the two,but if there was Kat would know.She finished cleaning and put away the supplies before sitting down in a chair and let her mind wander because she was getting no where thinking about the tooth and vial.The place was perfectly clean and looked good as new,so she knew there was no more work to be done and that she could sit and relax for a bit

Sapphire pushed the last chair in and surveyed their work. They had cleaned up the place well. She plopped down next to Luna and grabbed a glass of water. She drained the glass and sat back in the chair, methodically relaxing herself.

Luna nodded at Sapphire as she noticed her friend sit next to her,she brought her mind back from its wandering and turned to Sapphire."Think we cleaned it up enough"she asked.she as sure it was cuz it looked alright,but she wanted to be sure she wasn't missing something.

Kat got up and walked out her mind was racing again
